I hope all of these fun colors brighten up your Monday morning! I had the most fun in Charleston over the weekend at the #TBScon with some of my blogger besties. While this was my 4th time in Charleston, I must say this city never gets old. I obviously love all of the colorful buildings, I am sure that is no surprise to you. This was my first trip where I made it down to Rainbow Row, and it is something else. Keep your eyes out for a full Charleston city guide on the blog later this week! You can see what I packed for my long weekend in Charleston here.
More outfit and sizing details
This gingham dress is the epitome of adorable, and the back bow detail (which I was able to wear braless). There is great support in this dress, you can tie the bow in the back as tight as you please. I was able to wear it braless even though I am a G (same as DDDD) cup. The dress size I am wearing is a size 2x (I am usually an 18). However I do think I could have maybe sized down to a 1x, especially if you are not quite as chesty as I am. I am going to be re-wearing these silver flats all summer (really every season). I have been on the hunt for the perfect metallic flat for a while now. This particular pair is great for if you are like me and have wider feet, I have a hard time finding patent flats that fit my wide feet sometimes but these are perfect.
I borrowed this adorable black gucci cross body from Morgan (How 2 Wear It blog), now I want to save up for my own haha. I own several “designer” bags such as Kate Spade, Tory Burch… But I am wanting to start to save up for my first high end bag which I think will be a LV Neverfull GM.What was your first high end designer bag purchase?

Dresses are my go to for Charleston. In August it is going to be hot, humid, hot, muggy, and did I mention hot? I think dresses are the best choice for any hot day, you stay cool(ish) and look cute! I also like to pack my dresses in a garment bag, I have them pre ironed at home, so this minimizes any wrinkles during travel. I get asked a lot if I wear spanks for anything under my dresses to make it more comfortable when walking around all day. No I do not wear spanks, ever, so uncomfortable. However I do wear these under almost all of my dresses, they are not to tight, but make wearing dresses so much more comfortable.
I always pack seem to pack so many shoes, don’t judge. I just never know what I am going to be in the mood for. I packed all of my shoes and bags in a separate bag (my Kate Spade weekender bag). This way they don’t get crushed or damaged. I know I will be doing a lot of walking around Charleston, so I stuck with packing mostly flats and only one pair of comfortable heals.
What makeup to pack for Charleston (or any southern hot humid city). I packed my trust Este Lauder double wear, this stuff still stay on through a hurricane, trust me. Setting your foundation is key to helping it stay on all day in the heat. I “bake” (pack on the powder) under my eyes, nose, and chin, and then lightly set the rest of my face all using this powder. My go to lip product for the heat is a liquid lipstick that I know will not melt off my face, this is my current favorite.

Floral and ruffles, yes please! This dress is so ladylike, perfect for any summer wedding, church, or even the office. I love the length being right under the knee. The pattern makes it fun and chic, but the silhouette is so classic.I have been using this mini cross shoulder bag all summer, it is just the perfect size and isn’t overpowering. I am starting to pack for my long weekend to Charleston, I am so excited to spend the weekend there with blogging friends. Also hopefully getting lots of cool pictures for upcoming posts for yall!
